About Me
Hi! My name is Wendy Rhodes, and I am excited to share my 10+ years of experience in academic and career planning to the homeschool community. After graduating from high school, I served as an Americorps volunteer in San Antonio, at a Catholic elementary school serving underprivileged youth as a summer camp counselor and teacher’s assistant. After my year of service, I attended Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas and graduated in three years with a double major in Religious Studies and Philosophy with a minor in Spanish. After a period of vocational discernment, I went on to Graduate school at Regis University and earned a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Career Counseling. Since then, I have provided career services in a variety of capacities, from launching a career readiness program for teens, providing career counseling services to undergraduates at a local university, and working as an academic and career advisor for high school students in an early college. I am a licensed School Counselor and certified Myers Briggs and Clifton Strengths coach in the state of Colorado.
"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope."
